By accessing Decomp 720, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. You may use the directory for lawful personal, educational, research, journalistic, and preservation-related purposes. You may not use the site to violate law, infringe another person's rights, interfere with site operation, bypass access controls, or misrepresent a listed project as an official release.

Independent, unofficial directory
Decomp 720 is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by any game publisher, developer, console manufacturer, repository host, or listed project unless a page expressly says otherwise. A listing is editorial coverage, not a partnership, recommendation, legal determination, or promise that a project is safe, complete, licensed, or lawful in every jurisdiction.

Trademarks, copyrights, and project media
Game titles, character names, logos, artwork, screenshots, trademarks, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. They are used only where reasonably necessary to identify or discuss a project. Decomp 720 claims no ownership of those materials. Site-original writing, layout, and branding remain protected by their applicable rights.
Nothing on this site grants a license to download, copy, distribute, compile, or use any game, repository, asset, or third-party material. Review each repository's license and obtain your own lawfully acquired inputs.

Editorial listings and progress data
Listings summarize public sources and may contain errors, omissions, stale measurements, or machine-read data. Percentages are not standardized across projects and should not be compared as equivalent measures of completeness. Repository checks can fail or change without notice. Verify important facts with the project's maintainers and primary documentation.
Decomp 720 may add, correct, relabel, decline, or remove a listing at any time. The site does not accept responsibility for project code, releases, community conduct, security, licensing, or claims made by project maintainers.

External repositories and services
Links lead to independent websites that Decomp 720 does not control. Visiting, cloning, compiling, or running third-party material is at your own risk and is governed by that service's terms, licenses, and privacy practices. A link does not mean Decomp 720 reviewed the destination for malware, security defects, infringement, or legal compliance.

Copyright and removal requests
Rights holders may request correction, attribution, link removal, or removal of material displayed by Decomp 720. A notice should identify the protected work, the exact Decomp 720 URL and material at issue, the requested action, the sender's name and contact information, a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized, and a statement—under penalty of perjury—that the notice is accurate and the sender is authorized to act for the rights holder. Include a physical or electronic signature.
Publish a monitored legal-notice email here. If you intend to rely on the U.S. DMCA safe harbors, designate an agent with the U.S. Copyright Office and publish the same registered agent information on this page. A policy alone is not a DMCA registration.
Decomp 720 may forward a notice to relevant maintainers, request additional information, or remove or disable material while reviewing a complaint. False or abusive notices may have legal consequences.

Privacy, cookies, and advertising
The separate Privacy & Advertising notice explains the site's current data practices and reserved advertising placements. If ads are enabled, third-party vendors—including Google—may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization where permitted. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Decomp 720 and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, availability, non-infringement, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, security, or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the site owner and contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, profits, goodwill, or use; device damage; legal claims arising from a third-party project; or any decision made in reliance on site content. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the site is to stop using it. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited remain unaffected.

Changes, severability, and entire terms
These terms may be updated by posting a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These terms and the Privacy & Advertising notice are the entire site-level agreement concerning use of Decomp 720; third-party services remain governed by their own terms.
